ORAL PRESENTATIONS

The lecture room (Tea Hall) will be equipped with microphone, projector, remote controller and a laptop. Technical assistance will be guaranteed during the whole conference as follows:

24 May, Thursday: 8:00 AM – 7:00 PM
25 May, Friday: 8:00 AM – 6:00 PM
26 May, Saturday: 8:00 AM – 5:30 PM


Please bring your presentation on a USB memory stick with you. Upload and check your presentation preferably in the morning but at the latest in the break before your session. PowerPoint presentations are accepted with 16:9 ratio. If you wish to show web pages, instead of live links to the Internet, please, use screen shots within your presentation.

Plenary talks are 50 minutes long (including Q&A), invited speakers’ presentations are 30 minutes long (including Q&A), while other speakers have 15 minutes (incl. Q&A). Chairpersons will help you to keep the time – and you are kindly asked to help them.

POSTER PRESENTATIONS

Poster session: 26 May, Saturday, 1:30 PM – 2:30 PM – Gobelin Hall

Your poster should be printed in size A0 (841mm x 1189mm) and be in portrait orientation.

You will be given sticky tack/blue tack to affix your poster to the board.

  • You must be next to your poster during the Poster Session in order to answer any questions.
  • Posters will be viewed during the Poster Session indicated in the conference program.
  • Posters will be displayed in the Gobelin Hall.
  • Poster boards will be organized by name of the presenter and title.
  • If you have any difficulties, please contact a member of the Sleep Spindles 2018 conference team for help.
  • Please take your poster tube with you and do not leave it next to your poster board since we cannot guarantee security and it also presents a potential health and safety issue.
  • You can mount your poster from 8 AM on Saturday, 26 May and posters are expected to remain up until the end of the Poster session. Posters must be taken down no later than 6 PM on Saturday, 26 May.
